What is Family Therapy?

Family relationships set us up for success in all areas of our life. When these relationships feel unstable, unsafe or distant this can often lead to overall stress, worry, hurt and grief.

Family Therapy is a safe space to unpack your relationships with one another, to get off the hamster wheel of conflict, disagreement, resentment and hurt and have a different experience of one another.

Drawing on your relational needs of one another these sessions dive deep into the drivers of unhelpful patterns to strengthen your relationships to each other. These sessions move towards equipping you with the tools to improve family life in the home, outside of sessions, to continue to thrive in your relationships.

Who is Family Therapy for?

Any family members who wish to:

  • improve communication skills

  • improve emotional regulation including coregulation

  • reduce conflict in the home

  • navigate challenging behaviours experienced with children and youth

  • gain support and knowledge as they enter parenthood
