Can I claim under Private Health?
We currently offer private health rebates with Bupa, AHM, ARHG and MEDIBANK for Individual and Couples Counselling.
Check with your private heath fund if you are eligible under your extras cover. The amount you can claim back from the fee depends on your cover.
If you have private health cover, please mention this in your first appointment.
Can I claim a rebate under Medicare?
Evolve Mental Health does not offer Medicare rebates.
Couples & Family Counselling is not available under Medicare.
Do you have face to face sessions?
Evolve Mental Health is provides face to face sessions a Central Coast location on select Wednesdays. There are limited face to face sessions available per month.
DO YOU HAVE AFTER HOURS APPOINTMENTS AVILABLE?
Evolve Mental Health is passionate about making mental health accessible and so after hours appointments are available TUESDAYS & WEDNESDAYS from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
How many sessions will I/we need?
This is dependent upon your needs from therapeutic support or intervention as well as financial circumstances. Some people engage in therapy on a needs basis and others engage in therapy as an ongoing support system. Both are okay and available.
What should I / we expect in the first session?
The first session allows the counsellor to understand the landscape of your concerns and gather background information. At the end of the first session, they will explain what they offer as the next steps or negotiate a plan with you. It is important that you feel comfortable working with your counsellor and feel they have understood your concerns.
